One of the major tasks of Mother’s Club is to help feed the team throughout the season. Two-a-days are our first opportunity each year to provide the team with nourishment as they prepare for a winning season. Where does this food come from? The Mother’s Club asks for donations of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, chips, cookies, fruit, powerade(mix) and lemonade(mix) for each day. This year we will need to feed approximately 90 players and coaches during the 3 weeks of two-a-days.
Here’s why we need your donations–
Costs per day to feed the team(rounded to the nearest dollar)-
Peanut butter(1 jar) -3.00
Jelly( 1 jar) -2.00
Bread (2 loaves) -2.00
Chips(2 boxes w/50 each) -24.00
Cookies(2 cookies for each person) -13.00
Powerade(1 can) -5.00
Lemonade(1 can) -7.00
Total /per day -$80.00
Please sign up to donate one of these items for a day of practice. If it is more convenient for you, you can make a monetary donation and we will do the shopping! If you have any questions, please see Carolyn Dukes, President of Mother’s club (408-4810) or Kathy Clapper(704-5047) who will be helping with 2-a-day-meals.
